38 (Seringapatam) Battery Old Comrades |
The Battery was raised as 4 Company Bombay Artillery on 6th March 1768. The first recorded action was the Mysore War of 1799 in South India and the honour title SERINGAPATAM dates from the battle that took place on 4th May 1799. |
